Learn useful phrases and basic conversational skills, as well as loads of interesting cultural and historical information. Thursdays 9:30-11am Jan 5 -  April 12, 2012 15 Classes Total	ITALIAN: Beginners II   Continuation of  Beginner Italian. Students expand their conversational skills, building upon their knowledge of grammar and vocabulary; includes pronunciation, reading, writing, useful phrases, and basic conversational skills, as well as loads of interesting cultural and historical information.        All fun, no tests!    Cost: $285 + 11.88 tax = $296.88
Mondays 5:30-7pm Jan 2 -  April 23, 2012	ITALIAN: SPEAK ITALIAN! (Kihei) (Sponsored by the Italian American Social Club) INTERMEDIATE   Now we're talking!!  ...and Reading!  ...and Writing!!  Bravi!   This is a continuation class, graduated from Beginner III.  Students continue to learn and practice pronunciation, reading, writing, grammar, useful phrases and conversational skills.   15 Classes Total.       (No Class:  Jan 16 & Feb 20, 2012)   Cost: $285 + tax    St. Theresa's Church: 25 West Lipoa Street, Kihei

Fridays 9:30-11:30am Jan 20 -  Feb 24, 2012 6 Classes Total	University of Hawai'i Maui College SPEAK ITALIAN !!   Introduction to Italian language and culture; includes alfabeto, pronunciation, reading, writing, and basic grammar. Students will learn useful phrases and basic conversational skills. Wednesdays 4:30-6pm Jan 4 - Feg 22, 2012 8 Classes Total	Spanish: Beginner Part I This class is designed for Beginners who have little to no knowledge of the Spanish language. The class will follow a text book and together explore Spanish pronunciation, grammar, reading & writing, and music, with a strong emphasis on conversation. The goal is to have the students conversational at a basic level by the end of the session.   Class size:  5-person minimum / 12-person maximum.    Cost: $150 + tax

Mondays 4:30-6pm  Jan 2 - Feb 13, 2012	Brazilian Portuguese, from a Spanish Perspective: FAST TRACK PORTUGUESE!! This is a continuation of a new approach where we are teaching Brazilian Portuguese from a Spanish language perspective. Students are focusing on pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, and conversation. This is a rather fast-paced class. Prerequisite: working knowledge of Spanish.    7 Classes Cost: $135 + tax

MANDARIN CHINESE: INTRODUCTION This course gives an overview of Chinese history and culture, giving students an understanding of the Chinese way of thinking.
